During my Biochemistry & Biophysics Ph.D., I used TikTok to share my research on the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein. Post-Ph.D.,I still use TikTok, and its trends, including songs, memes, and dances, to communicate science, and to provide resources, information, and advice about being a scientist. As a LGBTQ+ woman in STEM coming from a low economic background, I also use this platform to discuss inequalities in STEM fields.
